**How to burn body fat**
Our bodies burn calories in 3 different ways
active daily living (exercise)
thermic affect of food (digestion)
basal metabolic rate (BMR)
Exercise accounts for roughly 15% of your daily calorie expenditure. This number will change slightly depending on how much you do. As most people cannot be active or exercising all day it only accounts for a relatively small percentage of daily calorie expenditure.
Digestion is also around 15% and is more or less a fixed number.
BMR is the amount of energy burned throughout the day while in a neutral state – sitting down at work etc.. It accounts for approximately 70% of the total calories you burn and to increase it means you can burn many more calories in the day or night.
To find out how you can increase your BMR, like this post (+my page) and look out for more from me in your news feed.
